Bineng Power(Bevualt) Front Terminal Type, 2V series is extensively used in telecommunication systems to provide backup power during electrical outages. These systems are critical for ensuring that telecommunication networks, including cell towers, base stations, and central offices, remain operational even when the main power supply is disrupted. Here's how lead-acid batteries are used in telecommunication systems,

How Lead-Acid Batteries are Used in Telecommunication Systems:

Backup Power: Telecommunication equipment requires a stable power supply to function properly. Lead-acid batteries act as backup power sources, ensuring that telecommunication systems continue to operate during power outages. This backup power is vital for maintaining communication services, especially during emergencies.

Rectifier Systems: Telecommunication systems often employ rectifiers to convert alternating current (AC) from the main power supply into direct current (DC), which is used to power the equipment. Lead-acid batteries are connected to these rectifier systems, serving as energy storage devices. When the main power fails, the stored energy in the batteries is used to power the equipment via the rectifiers.

Inverter Systems: In some telecommunication setups, an inverter is used to convert DC power from the batteries back into AC power, ensuring compatibility with the telecommunication equipment that operates on AC power. Inverters are essential for seamless transitions between battery power and the main power supply.

Installation of Lead-Acid Batteries in Telecommunication Systems:

Battery Rooms: In larger telecommunication facilities, lead-acid batteries are often installed in dedicated battery rooms or cabinets. These rooms are designed to provide proper ventilation and safety measures, including acid-resistant flooring and adequate spacing between batteries.

Battery Racks: Lead-acid batteries are typically mounted on specialized racks within battery rooms or enclosures. These racks are designed to securely hold the batteries in place, allowing for easy maintenance and replacement when necessary. The racks are organized to optimize space and facilitate proper airflow around the batteries.

Outdoor Enclosures: For remote cell towers and other outdoor telecommunication installations, lead-acid batteries are housed in weatherproof enclosures. These enclosures are designed to protect the batteries from environmental elements such as rain, snow, and extreme temperatures. Proper ventilation is ensured to prevent the buildup of hydrogen gas, which lead-acid batteries can emit during charging.
